Established in February 1997, BSKL has grown into an integrated textile manufacturing operation in CEPZ, Chattogram — building knitwear and dyed yarn for international apparel buyers across nearly three decades.

February 1997
Foundation
BSKL was established in the Export Processing Zone, Chattogram, and began operations, initially associated with South Ocean Group, Hong Kong, manufacturing sweater knitwear for export.

2021
New Ownership
BSKL entered a new ownership and strategic phase involving Yantai YAQI Textile Co. Ltd., bringing new capital, technology and global expertise to the Chattogram campus.

Today
Integrated Manufacturing
BSKL operates as a vertically integrated manufacturer — from in-house yarn dyeing through knitting, linking, sewing, washing and finishing — with quality control applied at every stage on one campus.

BSKL’s development has moved toward integrated textile manufacturing, with more stages carried out on one campus and quality control applied throughout.
A New Chapter
In 2021, BSKL entered a new ownership and strategic phase involving Yantai YAQI Textile Co. Ltd. The transition brought new capital, technology and global expertise to the Chattogram campus, supporting the continued development of BSKL’s integrated manufacturing capability.
